Qualitative Research

Our research revealed a strong user preference for a more interactive and user-friendly application. Key insights highlighted the need for simplified navigation, intelligent duplicate data suggestions, and a more intuitive way to complete long forms with reduced risk of errors.

"Each Business Area inputs their data separately, and often we end up with the same PEP entered multiple times, sometimes with different ID numbers. Then we spend hours cleaning up the mess."

David Morgan – Product Admin, GPR

"I started filling out the form for adding a PEP, but after the third page, I just gave up. It felt like it was never-ending. I thought I was almost done, but then another section popped up. Why can't they just show how many steps there are from the beginning?"

Carlos Rivera – Analyst, GPR

"As soon as I landed on the homepage, there were like ten different menus with confusing labels. I didn’t know where to start. It felt like I had to play detective just to find what I needed."

Thomas N. – Client Representative, GPR

Insights

1

Users always look for the prompts to let them know of the duplicate records.

2

Too many pop-ups create confusion for the users.

3

Use accordions to modularize long forms, which will help in eliminating unnecessary popups. Also, use the expand and collapse feature of the accordion to reveal data as per their need.

Use the top navigation menu with subcategories for easily navigating through the site. Provide breadcrumbs, back and forth buttons by retaining the previous state wherever necessary.
